2022년 들어 테슬라의 주가 추이가 심상치 않다. 2022년 연초대비 연간 주가 하락률은 -65% ($352 → $123), 12월 한달간 하락률은 36.5% ($194 → $123) 이다. 그래서 요새 테슬라와 관련된 다양한 뉴스들이 나오고 있다. 이런 혼란스러운 와중에 12월 28일, 일론 머스크는 테슬라 직원들을 대상으로 메일을 보냈다.

Since we have a lot of cars arriving at the last minute, it is important to rally hard and do everything we can to get our cars to customers who have ordered them before midnight on Dec. 31.
