Platfrom SDK 는 마이크로소프트(Microsoft) 가 개발자들을 위해 무료로 제공하는 소프트웨어 개발 툴킷으로 헤더, 라이브러리, 소스, 샘플, 문서 등이 포함되어 있다. 현재 Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 용 Platform SDK 까지 배포되었으며 .NET 이 확신되기 시작한 2006 년 이후로는 Microsoft Windows SDK for .NET 이란 이름으로 나오고 있다.
PSDK 라는 명칭으로 배포되기도 했고 일부는 Visual Studio 2008 을 설치시 자동 설치되기도 해서, 개발자들이 많은 혼란에 빠트렸다. 아래에 Platform SDK 릴리즈 정보를 정리를 해 본다.
